Sue Palmer

Sue Palmer a former primary head teacher, is the author of over two hundred books, software packages and TV programmes for the education market. She is a popular speaker on the subject of literacy and, more recently, child development in the modern world, about which she frequently writes and comments in the press and other media. Since publishing the book Toxic Childhood in 2006 (her first book for a more general audience), she’s been involved in many campaigns around education, outdoor play, screen-based entertainment and the commercialisation of childhood. Her latest book is 21st Century Boys.
